Lee Berg dropped off spools at Saddle Rock Ranch for the hardworking folks from KiDS NEED MoRE and The Spencer Foundation who gathered on Saturday June 11th to begin preparations for the 2022 day camp.   The spools are used as tables and stools and their bright colors add a carnival flavor to every activity.  Jeanine Spencer said, “Not only do the kids love sitting and eating at these spools, they add a cheeriness and splash of color to camp.”

This year the spools have been donated by Lee and Jayne Berg, and the paint by Al Littmann of ACE Hardware in Copiague – many thanks for all you do for the kids!

One spool got some special attention:  it was the very first spool painted 4 years ago by our volunteers.  It got a new coat of green-and-yellow turtle paint with KiDS NEED MoRE hearts!

Saturday also saw the delivery of bluestone to spruce up the activity area near the main house.
