Our first Jean and Jeanine Spencer Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholars, Emily Hirsch and Nina Calabria, are already making a difference in the lives of other childhood cancer survivors.

Emily is serving as a mentor through our Mentorship Program where she is a source of support to a child currently going through treatment.

Nina will be participating in our Cards for Kids program where she and her friends will create cards that offer encouragement and love to a child currently in treatment.

Said Jessica Cook, Vice President of Patient and Family Services at the National  Children’s Cancer Society:  “Every year I am touched by the resilience and inspiring stories of these young survivors. They are truly exceptional individuals. Your steadfast dedication and support through the Spencer Foundation have played a pivotal role in helping these courageous young individuals chase their dreams. None of this would be attainable without your unwavering generosity.  Together, we are making a profound impact on the lives of survivors all across the nation.”
