The Spencer Foundation’s first fundraiser at the North Village Tavern in Rockville Center was a big success! North Village Tavern was packed with friends and well-wishers enjoying live music from Derek & Evan, the delicious buffet and drinks provided by our hosts Gina and Dave, and even turtle cupcakes from Love Bites Cupcakes! Mayor Mike Lavorata of Lindenhurst presented a proclamation naming Monday August 7th as Spencer Foundation Day. The evening ended up with an exciting raffle of 54 baskets, thanks to the generosity of our supporters. In all, the event brought in $7,754 for Operation: Playcation!
