The Spencer Foundation sponsored a day at the KiDS NEED MORE Camp Adventure during the week of August 13th. Camp Adventure is a one-week sleep away camp for children diagnosed with cancer and their siblings, held annually at the Quinipet Camp and Retreat Center on Shelter Island, NY. Jeanine Spencer and Nancy Michanie joined other volunteers, many of whom are cancer survivors themselves. Jeanine remarked, “What a wonderful event. A great week with special young people volunteering to help kids just be kids and have fun.”
