Thanks to the generosity of the LI Lions Pride Chapter and Lions District 20K2 of Nassau County and Bermuda, Jeanine Spencer dropped off gifts at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, Stony Brook, NY. Their donations paid for gas cards, Stop & Shop Grocery gift cards, Amazon birthday gift cards, clothes, art and craft supplies, toys, teddy bears and other fun stuff for their patients.
“When a child gets sick families have many challenges including the cost of groceries and gas to get back and forth to the hospital for treatments and family visits. Kids also have birthday while in the hospital,” said Jeanine. “This is what Sassy’s Small Stuff is all about!”
