When the Child Life staff at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital calls for help, Sassy and her friends at The Spencer Foundation swoop into action! Clothing, UNO cards and PlayDoh were in short supply, but not for long. Sassy and Foundation President Jeanine Spencer made a special delivery these essentials on June 3rd.
Samantha from Stony Brook Children’s Hospital Child Life Staff, worked closely with The Spencer Foundation to determine what they needed for their patients. Samantha stated, “Thanks so much for all you do for us, we (and the patients!) really appreciate it.”
Said Jeanine Spencer, “We could not do it without the help from the staff at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and all those that donate to The Spencer Foundation. The Child Life Staff at Stony Brook are an amazing group whose boundless energy is always so uplifting. We are so happy that we can help give them the items they need to help make a difference in a brave child warriors day. And a special thank you to everyone who donated to help make children stay positive and soar high like the kites in the hospital remind them.”
