Jeanine Spencer delivered handmade blankets and infant blankets with matching hats to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. These were crafted by the UL Melville Knitting and Crochet Club and other volunteers. Jeanine was thanked by Child Life staff, who told her that these items are very comforting to the families of sick children; the patients and their families feel the warmth of knowing that someone took the time to give of themselves to show their love and that they care.
