The Spencer Foundation’s third annual fishing fundraiser on the Captain Eddie B III set sail from Captree State Park on Saturday August 6 2022, and spent a glorious afternoon sharing fish, food and fun. There was a lot of action on the boat, and we kept the mates busy, pulling in sting rays, sharks, crabs, sea robins and fluke; 16 flukes were keepers, with several over 4 lbs.
Many thanks to all the wonderful people that joined us – we raised over $3000! And a very special shout-out to Captain Zach and the crew on the Eddie B III, Jayne Berg, Frank Cox, Jill Jacobson McGauvran, Amy Lynne and Danny Goss, and everyone who helped with the food, desserts and raffles.
