On April 2nd Gina Caggiano Wuestmann presented a check for $1000 to the St Baldrick’s Foundation on behalf of The Spencer Foundation.
Alanna Devine-Bender, representing St Baldrick’s, expressed their appreciation, saying, “What started back in 1999 with a goal to raise $17000 on March 17th has now grown into the largest funder of childhood cancer research, besides the government. We will keep shaving heads, chopping ponytails, having fundraisers until all cures are found to save all children from pediatric cancers. Thank you to The Spencer Foundation in helping St Baldrick’s fund the research to save young lives.”
The St Baldrick’s Foundation has raised over $350 million to research cures for children with cancer. Go to https://www.stbaldricks.org to find out more about this incredible organization.
