The Spencer Foundation and Lions Club District 20K2 slid down the rainbow twice this week to deliver a little bit of happiness to the kids being treated for cancer at two hospitals.

Their first stop was Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center, where on Wednesday March 8th they dropped off weighed teddy bears that can be warmed in the microwave for extra-cuddly snuggling.

The rainbow riders then visited Stony Brook Children’s Hospital on Friday March 10th, where they dropped off over 100 gifts bags filled with pajamas, puzzles, books, crayons, cars, rattles, teddy bears and many other toys.

Older kids and teens will receive adult coloring books, gel pens, playing cards, word puzzle books and Amazon gift cards.
