Announcing Five Scholarship Recipients for 2025-2026 Academic Year!

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, The Spencer Foundation was able to work with the National Children’s Cancer Society to sponsor five Jean and Jeanine Spencer Beyond the Cure Ambassador scholarships this year!

To mark the occasion, Jeanine Spencer shared, “It is truly an honor and a privilege to be able to help these cancer survivors continue their education.  These students are true warriors and survivors, whom throughout their young lives have dealt with not only their illnesses, but the side effects of their treatments and how it has affected their childhood.  These survivors have become the individuals they are because of the battles they have gone through, and what fine individuals they are.

“What brings me such joy, is just not the resilience of these young adults, but how they want to give back.  They give time of themselves through community service.  Based on their life experiences, they choose to help others, with the goal to make each day a little better, passing on hope, and helping to make a difference.

“We at The Spencer Foundation are so grateful for everyone who supports us, so that we can help these young adults fulfill their dreams, continue on their journeys to make life better for others, while trying to live their best life.”
