From July 5 through July 16 The Spencer Foundation and KIDS NEED MoRE hosted 60 kids from families affected by cancer and other serious illness at Saddle Rock Ranch Day Camp in Middle Island.
Said Jeanine Spencer: “It was a fabulous two weeks with children making friends and trying new things, learning from each other and often humbling us older folks, but nothing was more fulfilling than to see the joy of a child’s smile having fun, and knowing that they would have wonderful memories to last their lifetime.”
Every day started off gathering around the flagpole.. followed by all kinds of fun!
