The Spencer Foundation and Michael Magro Foundation delivered the next four PlayStation 4 consoles to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, marking the beginning of Phase 2.  We held a workshop to teach Stony Brook’s Child Life and IT staff how to create PlayStation Network accounts, configure the consoles, and purchase and download games.  Everyone was excited about taking this next step.

Child Life Service Director Joan Alpers commented, ““Besides your love and obvious joy in giving these systems to our kids, we have benefitted so very much from your technical expertise to help us to start this program here! Three cheers especially to Sue has been so very helpful to us all, researching best practice and in some cases creating best practice in providing gaming to kids in hospital. And she seems to be having almost as much fun as the kids and families doing so!”
